Here's the description I put in a picture I recently posted called "Spoon Fork Knife". It may not look like it, but I thought a lot about this and I put a lot of work into this description, and this seems like the only way to make people look beyond simple objects in a simple photo.

"A spoon, a fork, and a knife. Why did I take this picture, you ask? Well, I’ve had this symbolic description running through my mind for a while whenever I think of these three common eating utensils together. Here, let me explain:

A spoon. What do you think of when you look at a spoon? What kind of memories does it bring up? For some, a spoon is like a symbol of innocence and purity. When using a spoon, you eat fun things like ice cream, pudding, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, and other kid-favorite foods. Also, a spoon is sometimes used when taking medicine, which gives it a recovering kind of feeling too. In other words, a spoon is like a symbol of good.

A knife. What do you think of when you look at a knife? Not very pleasant at first glance, no? Knives are sharp tools used to cut and pierce and split tough foods like meats and raw vegetables, but they’re also known for being tools for stabbing, slashing, cutting, and ultimately, murder. Knives are sometimes seen with blood stains in horror movies, costume props, and crime evidence and they’re always associated with being dangerous for good reason. In other words, a knife is like a symbol of evil.

A fork. Many things can come to mind when looking at a fork. You can eat all sorts of foods with forks and they share the same abilities as the spoon and knife. For example, a fork can scoop up things the same way that a spoon can, but it can’t hold liquid as well as a spoon. A fork can pierce through things the same way that a knife can, but it’s not as sharp as a knife. A fork stands in between the spoon and the knife with its abilities. In other words, a fork is like a symbol of good and evil."
